Pons V2 in one paragraph

Pons V2 is a launch protocol on Robinhood Chain. A creator deploys a token; the whole supply is minted to a bonding curve; the public buys and sells against that curve; when the curve sells out, the launch graduates into a Uniswap v4 pool whose liquidity is locked permanently. A launch can be priced in an approved pairing asset instead of ETH, and when it is, that asset is the currency of the whole launch: buyers spend it, sellers receive it, and the creator is paid in it.

$MORBIO is paired with $ORBIO. So everything about him is denominated in ORBIO first and dollars second.

Base fee vs creator tax

Every trade pays two things, charged on the quote leg:

| Fee | Set by | Where it goes | |---|---|---| | Base trade fee (feeBps, currently 100 bps) | the launch config | split between Pons, an optional buyback, and the creator | | Creator tax (creatorTaxBps, 0 bps (0.00%)) | the creator at launch, capped by the factory, immutable | entirely to the creator |

Of the base fee, Pons takes its protocol share first (3000 bps of the fee). If buybacks are enabled, a slice of what remains is spent buying the token back. Whatever is left, plus the whole creator tax, is the creator's. The same split applies before and after graduation.

Why the fee is paid in ORBIO

Pons never converts a creator's payout. A launch quoted in ORBIO charges its fees in ORBIO and credits the creator's ORBIO balance in the fee escrow. That is why Morbio eats ORBIO: it is literally what the kitchen receives.

How a fee becomes gruel

For each trade i at time tᵢ:

curve phase: food = tax + fee × (1 − protocolShare) × (buybackEnabled ? 1 − buybackBurn : 1)
pool phase: same formula on the per-swap HookFeeCollected(feeAmount, taxAmount)
then: food_usd = food × ORBIO/USD at tᵢ
stomach: S = min(CAP, S + food_usd)

The three parameters are read from the launch's own curve, so the number you see is the number the contract pays. Snipe tax collected during the first five seconds after launch is folded into the base fee by the contract and is distributed the same way, so it counts as gruel too.
